This project involved the construction of a new build detached annex, alongside the family's existing main dwelling. An existing brick barn was demolished, and replaced with the annex.
The building contains a single garage for the annex, and a double garage for the main house. Above the garages are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The single storey section of the building provides the living, kitchen, dining space for the annex.
This bespoke building, designed to have the appearance of a contemporary barn conversion, mitigates against the risk of flooding whilst, at the same time, meeting the client's needs.
